Revolutionised Sri Lanka's sport digitally and became the face of rugby in the island. As a result, he expanded the rugby fraternity by 10X. Identifying business opportunities in local and international sports events, formulating strategies to maximise ROI, and leveraging sports to boost business growth is a key strength. He has travelled the world to cover many global events, including ICC Champions Trophy, Commonwealth Games, Youth Olympic Games, to name a few.
Saabir also holds a Masters in International Sport Management from Birmingham City University with a distinction for his dissertation titled Transformional Leadership for Diversity and Inclusion; A case study on England Rugby (RFU) and a call to expand its core values.
Additionally with BA (Hons) International Business Top Up from Coventry University as well as BA Sport Management and Rugby Studies from Buckinghamshire New University
